Our humor and disposition are not so much the reflection of the weather or the wrong side of the bed, as they are reflections of the state of our soul.

If we revolve around what happens on the outside, then the latter determines our mood and attitudes. But if we make what is external revolve around us, we can determine the amount of their influence. Either what is outside makes our moods or our moods determine our outlook on what is outside us.
