

The Fool carries a pack tied to a staff as he walks to the edge of a cliff with a small dog biting at his heels. He carries with him all his possessions and is travelling the world without knowing where he’s going. From time to time, the fool is blinded by the wonders before him, and fails to see the obstacles ahead. The dog is trying to warn him of the danger ahead, but he risks ignoring it.
This is a card of infinite possibilities. Usually, it signifies new beginnings, for example, moving home or beginning a new job. When this card occurs in a spread, you might be starting something new (such as a new relationship) and they have the energy that is normally associated with new beginnings. What is happening will take you into new and unknown territories.
