My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I waited a long time to read this book because I KNEW it would turn me into a Scrabble Fanatic. And it Did.

This book is worth all of the hype–an amazing look at the characters and conventions that drive the leading edge of one of the worlds most popular games.

The play review & descriptions are first rate, the character summaries are amazing, the authors inner struggles sell this book. I think more on Maven and the science side would have been nice, but that can be for another book; honestly, there is little to find fault with in this amazingly fun and informative read.

Highly recommended to both Gamers & Readers of all stripes–a classic.
