  • Princess of Cups

“indicate heightened perception, and tells you to listen carefully to the voice of your own intuition, and to follow through on any ideas which arise from it.”

I have been working a lot on intuition the last few days.

I am not sure that I can trust my own intuition–I want more certainty.

Also, I am not sure that certainty is really a distraction from emotions or feelings.

I am mostly going to continue trying to find a truth within.

  • Four of Swords

“it is time to rest, time to stop worrying about the things that have happened.”

    “Truce is not peace.”

“We need to be on our guard, too, for other people running personal agendas which may mean that the ‘truce’ is more convenient than sincere.”

    “a temporary respite”

    “recover, regroup and stabilise”

“use the internal stillness he brings to think over trouble spots, or areas of difficulty.”

“we have not yet finished our business here”

“The kind of ‘truce’ the Four of Sword monitor is a peace enforced by the threat of violence, ad a such will be short lived.

  • X The Wheel of Fortune

The Book has the legend of Saturn swallowing his children.

It talks about Centrum In Centri Trigano (“The central thing in the middle of three other things”).

It describes the card as a central image of the universe.

“Fortune is not the same as luck. We make our own luck and follow our own destiny. Good fortune comes from the still centre which contains the very heart of ourselves”

“if we realise our own power to create a beneficial future and then trust in that vision, we shall become the still figure, master of our own universe.”

  • Ten of Disks

We cannot expect energy to flow freely in our lives if we hoard it, and try to hang on to it.

  • Seven of Wands

feel the fear and do it anyway

  • 0 The Fool

I feel that I get this card often–I guess that the deck I have has three version of this card, but still–it seems to come up a lot.

I could definitely use more eagerness and freshness–some of this I am finding in a return to where I was before–a return to the healthy choices I was making previously, like jogging.

Faith in god and an absence of fear, I feel that I relate to–and I definitely expect my path to be happy and rewarding.

Bringing up the child within while my mom is staying with us is good, but I am not sure I am staying immune to others negativity.

    I shall see.

  • Four of Cups

    “a wealth of loving affection”

This is likely very very true, that I “undervalue the tenderness and emotional investment that others are making”

I need to focus on not taking “love for granted.”

    This is very good advice:
count your blessings, reciprocate, and don’t get your priorities in a mess

A nice card to draw this week.

  • Princess of Disks

    “often represents conception”

I am not sure why this card came up–I am glad to be over the previous period of Nine of Wands, but I am not sure where I am going with this stage manager–behind the scenes sensitive woman.

I am glad to be paying more attention to the ideals of others + be out of my own personal problems.

  • VII The Chariot

The Chariot represents the principle that the human Will functions only when the whole being is behind it. This card is about the struggles we have with ourselves and with life. It promises that with diligence, honesty and perseverence we can overcome the most insurmountable of obstacles.

This is a hopeful and encouraging card, reminding us that we can climb to the heights if we want to. Here we are taught how to master the opposing forces within us, in order to bring them and thus ourselves into harmony. We are cosmic warriors, unfurling, learning and growing – divine and vital parts of the Universe.

  • Nine of Wands

I somehow drew this card again, so I redrew. I guess the teaching is “we have what it takes to get by.”
