  • Totally Confused by Beck

When I search the word Used in Beck Lyrics the only song that comes up is Totally Confused:
    #begin
    I’m totally confused by you
    I’m totally confused by you
Ten foot man making my lunch
Never understand I want you so much
    And I never never wanted
    And I never never wanted
    And I never never wanted

    Totally confused by you
    I’m totally confused by you
Screaming in my face, whisper in my ear
Put me in a suitcase with a can of beer
    And I never never wanted
    And I never never wanted
    And I never never wanted
    #end

  • Mahatma Gandhi

Monotony is the law of nature. Look at the monotonous manner in which the sun rises. The monotony of necessary occupation is exhilarating and life giving.

  • George Bernard Shaw

The secret of being miserable is to have the leisure to bother about whether you are happy or not. The cure is occupation.

  • Novel

I am working with the concept of novel for the next few weeks.

I am looking at the written form as part of National Novel Writing Month http://www.nanowrimo.org/, I am also trying to get more novels read this month.

I am also looking at it in terms of newness–I am not sure how that will develop, but it is largely where I am hoping for the most growth.

  • Karma

In Hindu belief where the term originated, it is the idea that the good and evil a person does will return either in this life or in a later one. Among Pagans, the theory is that whatever negative or positive energies one sends out will come back to the sender in like kind. The “Three Fold Law” is a version of this belief.

  • Deportment :: 02005-12-28

Yesterday, I learned two important things about deportment.

The first relates to the notion of balance & consistancy. Both of those skills require patience. I do not have patience. I need to practice patience. I need to force myself into situations where I need to wait. And I need to wait without playing mind games.

The second relates to how others perceive you. Deportment requires consistency. When you are tired is shows & you lake consistency. This points to a biological aspect of deportment which I think may be very important.
