The Story: (hideTABULA RASA PART 3 The secrets of the evolutionary jungle are revealed, as the X-Men face the Immortal Man, with the help of a brand new ally!

Another fun issue in this arc–I think it is a good read. A nice way for Gillen to get more familiar with the characters in a fight situation that does not seem all that risky–there is a lesson in pacing underneath this tale that will ideally pay off elsewhere–so far I am liking it.

  • Uncanny X-Men #6

Writer: Kieron Gillen Colorist: Guru-eFX Letterer: Joe Caramagna Artist: Greg Land, Justin Ponsor, Jay Leisten Orig. Published: February 01, 2012 Rating: T+ Format: Comic UPC: 5960607689-00611 Price: $3.99 The Story: (hide) TABULA RASA PART 2 Cyclops and his team delve further into a world where evolution has run rampant. Plus, a new foe is revealed, who will show the X-Men just how out of date homo superior really are! This is a fun fall out from X-Force. Silly science and a touch on the Alien Side of the fence, but still an enjoyable if quick read. And I am likely happier with Kieron Gillen then a lot of readers–I really like how he is handling Namor. I think he has a good grasp on Emma. And Scott feels like the Scott I have always wanted to read about. A good arc throw away arc.

The Story: (hide) X-MEN REGENSIS What is to become of the mutants who side with Cyclops after the big split? And what does it have to do with the resurrected Mister Sinister?

Why is this rated T+? What do I have to do to get Marvel to make a comic for Kids? The only reason adult themes enter into this are lame–the science & strategy of the bad guy are good for kids to read. We don’t need head shots [or T&A] in this comic to make it interesting–we could clearly improve this just by making it more kid friendly.

The Story: (hide) THE TRIAL OF FANTOMEX PART 1 The X-Force team journey to Otherworld! Guest starring Captain Britain and the Captain Britain Corps!

Interesting–I did like this a lot more then the last issue of this series–but it is much the same–the characters have kind of stopped moving and stuff, but I think it is going somewhere–trying to redefine the team a little more–they still need a leader with Angle gone & maybe making Psylocke the leader is the point of this arc. Interesting if nothing else.

This is a waste of UXF space–a return to the characters of the last arc launching their new series. Not a fan–starting to feel over used already.

A move to otherworld is not really a great idea–playing with Captain Britian Corps somehow gives remender access to the Moore legacy, I guess.

We will see how this goes–but it started off feeling a little to much like the last arc…

    I picked this up Alakazam.

I read this in front of Peets on a Friday afternoon.
