The Julie Ruin – South Coast Plaza (Official Lyric Video)

Good lord & Holy Hell I completely love this video. https://youtube.googleapis.com/v/xjkxuSfUDjI&source=uds When Lisa and I watched it together her first comment was “That is not South Coast Plaza”, to which I thought of course not. It cannot be. It is the world of memory and memory is always slightly off, but this song is completely…
Tea Time

So, I have made a resolution to drink Tea at 4:00 PM based on the Hobbit movie. I have no experience with Tea. At all.I have purchased tea from Friday. I have purchased equipment from Nichole from Teavana. Which included a book that had more details on tea which was very helpful.
PODCAST DMG DESIGN PODCAST D&D Podcasts By Bart Carroll, Shelly Mazzanoble – 01/12/2014

This is another great WotC D&D Podcast. Mike Mearl‘s often seems to be sand bagging while talking about his design work. I think he does this primarily because of the community in which he operates–everyone he talks to thinks that they understand the complexity and difficulty of game design; when in fact he and about…
Good Omens on the BBC

This thing is completely amazing.

Kate Bush – 50 Words for Snow

So Kate Bush is doing very well in the Performance of the Year (Decade?) category, so I decided to go back and give her last record a listen. The fact that she has returned to the stage after 35 years is obviously a huge big deal, but the question to me is does she have…
Gamer to Gamer – Jeremy Crawford

James Introcaso continues his amazing work on the Tome Show with this fantastic interview with Jeremy Crawford as part of his Gamer to Gamer series, but unlike the others in that series this is more of a review of the DMG. It is very well produced, amazingly easy to listen to, and very informative. My favorite part is…

Infusion Day

Jack & I went to CHOC for his penultimate infusion, but he had the flu so we had to reschedule.
