Spiders on a Boat Actual Play

The Death of Alcion…second death of Alcion…in two weeks… -
Spiders on a Boat (Snakes on a Plane #2)

Another tough week for Alcion. Dropped by a swarm of spider and an Ettincap who hated fey creatures, I then failed three death saves–double whammy with a one on the final role with the dice Tina gave me at the start of the season.

Alcion will return, but having already been a Lich Killer & a Lich Lord I am not sure what else there is for him to be…I will need to think of something–likely drow-y since he was killed by spiders…

I am also currently fascentated by the D&D Beyond Magic School Logos–I am not sure which one I like best and/or what they are all supposed to represent…
Rich was in the house–his assassin is now a swashbuckler & complete awesome!

Brian has a druid / barbarian halfling and Cody is playing a min/maxed Grunge Ranger

DM Richard appears to be having a blast!

Alcion is still the weakest link…

I lost a D20 and had to purchase a new set!

Siler metal did not work that well, but they roll great–not great numbers, just a great feel–you understand….

Dragon Hunting
This week at D&D Encounters at Alakazam Comics, I forgot my camera so this photo recap will be a little pastey…

First a quick plug for Extra Life who have a Table Top Appreciation Day coming up–I am working on scheduling some events in Orange County & will post more information here when I have it…

Here is a preview of what the adventure may entail!
Here is my adventure log from the night–note that I use a variety of tools to track the adventure, but I am working to try to standardize this some–I have some ideas on how I can do this better mostly so I can remember what went down last week…Boxed Text is magic items we unlocked:

Here the box text is villain name–I need to improve / standardize this note taking.

I bought a new mini for Alcion this week which of course means that he died–40pts from dragon breath after already being down a few…

Adventure League rules for Raise Dead are interesting up to level four, so I am able to come back! But if you have been following along with the CIS Male High-Elf (Eladrian) Wizard (3) / Cleric (1) dedicated to killing Liches you may be shocked to see that he has come back as an ACEF Male Human Wizard (3) / Cleric (1) Lich LORD!

This is going to get great!

F’ing Drow
Another Great week of D&D Adventures League at Alakazam Comics!

Cody continues to dominate not just the Pencil Game, but also the Min/Max game with his Ghostwise Halfling Ranger.
I am playing a CIS Male High Elf Wizard / Cleric obsessed with killing Liches.

The other table came by with delicious chocolate treasure to start today’s game!

I am still rocking my Q-Workshop Elvish Dice

DM Richard is having a blast behind the screen

My notes and adventure log needs a great deal of work–I think I am skating a little cause Lost Mines is not that “interesting” once you have played it a few times.

This week there were four of us & we are in the Kill All Drow part of the adventure

My Fog Cloud was good (and KUDOS to DM Richard for having the template) , but our Assassin critted like 4 times in a row to really steal the session MVP.

D&D Adventure League
Cody & I went to Alakazam to play some D&D this Wednesday. Cody brought the amazing Dice Envy dice he purchased at Gamex.

He is still rocking his amazing Mimic dice bag that he purchased a few seasons ago.

I went with Black & Red Tube of Dice and the new Wizards of the Coast D&D Branded draw bag for my dice.

The Adventure was fairly standard, but the table was wild and out of control–it was GREAT to be back at D&D on Wednesday nights–I feel like I have missed almost six months.
