I did not love this. I feel like it was simple humor focused on interesting topics. There is a book that starts with the gun instead of the dildo and is a lot better. I mostly just did not dig the tone of this, but folks in my book club it liked it much more then I did.

I liked this a lot more then the reviews would have had me think. It is a very innovative text with a lot of literary diversity and solid writing. It is true that this book was assembled by another sadist from sanford who has likely done more harm to undergraduates then phentonyl, but unlike most of his fascist coworkers I do not sense that he enjoyed it. A good book.

On the Lovers, a man and woman are surrounded by symbols of love and growth. Their hands indicate the path ahead. The Fool is a junction and he needs to decide which way to turn.

The Lovers card indicates that you need to make a decision. You may have decided to go down one road, but now another appeals to you. Making the wrong decision will have grave consequences. The decision might not be about love, but this card always indicates that you have to choose between two options.

Your first instinct will most likely be to associate this card as representing love and relationships, but, much like love, it does not possess a simple nature. Not only does love comes in many forms, but the Lovers may indicate important or conflicting choices ahead in your life. This is bad, in that the choices are generally mutually exclusive paths to two very different futures, but also good, in that it also confirms that at least one of those paths will take you to a good place. As such, if you happen to find it in your spread, you should consider it carefully, but not fear it. It tells a story of tough decisions, likely painful and involving internal struggles, but that the correct decision and a positive outcome are within your grasp
