  • This week we are guided by the Three of Cups

On this card, three women are holding up three flooding cups in an air of celebration. The fruits that surround them suggests they are celebrating the plenitude of the harvest that will take them through lean times. Or perhaps the image represents the arrival of Persephone from the underworld and, with her, the arrival of bounteous fruits and grain.

This is a card of parties, weddings, commemorations, birthdays, baby showers, or any other occasion where people gather for a happy occasion. It may be that you have re-united with a family member after a very long time, or that you will soon be with close friends you regard as family. If you are involved in a new relationship, this card suggests you should discuss it with those closer to you before making a decision.

This card is both a portent of celebration and cause for it. It tells of great happiness and abundance in the future for you, and not of the passing kind, but secure joy which will last and be shared with those around you. Commonly associated with community, friendship, and the completion of a meaningful project, or, even more likely, a birth.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

a great book of practical magic. This book is by Mortellus who is amazing – a Pathfinder playing visionary who provides helpful and legal advice on this difficult field. It is not for me, at all, but I am glad that this book exists.

  • This week we are guided by the Queen of Swords

The Queen of Swords indicates a woman with knowledge and high communication skills. She is the kind of woman that you go to for information, and you can be sure that if she doesn’t have the answer, she will find it for you. Able to get along with anyone, she can talk science with researchers, history and literature with writers. She is full of facts and loves to pass on her knowledge.

Her job is likely to involve a lot of communication. She may be a researcher, doctor or lawyer. Sometimes a little eccentric, she is both entertaining and awe-inspiring.

The Queen of Swords represents a very perceptive individual, sharp-witted and professionally distant mature woman. As communication is a key theme. you will most likely find her to be your aid and counsel, possibly a teacher. Not necessarily female, but likely to be, this person should be trusted and may take an interest in you, but that interest is unlikely to be romantic. A powerful ally, respect her intelligence and you will be rewarded with peerless guidance.
