An angel blows a trumpet as people rise from their graves in welcome. The Fool is nearing the end of his journey. However, something is stopping him from taking his final step. To do so, he has to set aside his past. Every step you make shapes your destiny.
This card reminds you that it is impossible to run or hide from your past. You have to face up to it and move on with your life. As the dead rise, and sins are forgiven, it is time for you to do something that you have put off. Most importantly, for you to be forgiven, you have to be willing to forgive first.
Judgment tells a story of transition and moving on, but unlike Death or the Tower, it is not sudden change, or born of luck or intuition, but change that springs from reason and the consequences of your actions. It signifies the absolution of your plans, often long in the making, coming to fruition. If it points towards the future, it may also speak towards the nature of the change; if there is a choice that needs to be made, ruminate and let your mind guide the decision. Logic, in this case, is a better guide than intuition. Be prepared to make a major decision in your life, one that you will face the consequences of for many years to come.
