The Divine Comedy by Dante Alighieri My rating: 5 of 5 stars Sometimes one sword cuts better than five. And countless other amazing poetic achievements. And so much plot, and imagery, and intrigue, and glory, and just damn good writing. A classic for a reason–not sure if the Wordsworth translation is even in the running at this point, but really worth the 3 days of intense focus it takes to get through all of it–recommended for humanity.
