The Story: (hide) The Dark Angel Saga: Part 3 Years ago, Wolverine helplessly watched as Jean Grey, the love of his life, died before his eyes. Years later, he would lose his best-friend Nightcrawler to a similar fate. In order to save our world, can he allow them to die again? X-Force team up with The Amazing X-Men for the final push against the heir of Apocalypse, in a battle Royale that will force Wolverine to make the hardest choice of his life. One world must die!
I picked this up at Alakazam. I did not read it for about a month. Not sure why–I have really been enjoying this series.
This issue was great–more Age of Apocalypse stuff. There is a good alternative cover for this which lacks the style of the normal cover, but captures the spirit of the series very well
Fantomex’s psychic redirection trick is used once to often in this book.
The character interaction between Jean and Logan is great–but I could have used more dialog with the bad guys–maybe more of the ‘plan’ rather then the simple we are AoA and taking over!
