The Story: (hide) FEAR ITSELF TIE-IN! As the Avengers are stretched to the breaking point by the events of FEAR ITSELF, prepare for a SURPRISE EVENT too SHOCKING to be revealed here–presaging a change in the ranks! And we can guarantee you the biggest shake-up in the Avengers roster since AVENGERS DISASSEMBLED!

I bought this at Alakazam and read it at home late at night.

I read this because Jack gets it.

I thought that this was on OK issue. I like the story telling style–the reportage framing to move character development under a microscope type thing seems to work well for me. This team is too big and with all these characters something has to be done to make me care.

Wolverine needs to be removed asap. Red Hulk is still being apologized for–I would remove him from the team as well. The female characters are all woefully underpowered compared to Iron Man, Thor, and etc.

Spider-man also needs to actually do something useful at some point–right now he is basically mocking the entire team with his off handed approach. I do not find it funny.

And Hawkeye? I vote he just gets killed.

So I am not very connected to the team & this issue, though it tried to help me, mostly failed.
