I bought this at Alakazam. I read it while sulking at home when the kids were at water polo.

I am not happy.

Last issue we seemed to have been making some progress. This issue sucked. We are in the middle of Fear Itself, some summer stupid block buster marvel event that makes no sense. Juggernaut is speaking in eldritch script. He hires a squire from a gas station or something. But even worse then that…if such a thing is possible…Magik is in Jail.

Locked in prison for some unknown reason.

And Namor wants to knock boots with Emma.

Who evidently is hurt that Scott will not marry her–like he did the ‘redhead’…

Oh God!

Make it stop.

Magik does not get locked up. Ever.

There are some saving graces–Kitty looks great–in fact the art is awesome–I am a total Land Lover.

I do like that there is a lot going on in this issue–setting up a lot of future show downs–but the Scott banter with the Mayor is lame.

Seriously. Who talks like this? Why the issues–get it done and move on.
