Uncanny X-Men 535

I picked this up at Alakazam. It was the second x-book that I read with the same creative team.

Ashamed to admin how much I miss Greg Land on this–the art, particularly the cover, is just very uneventful for me–for a flagship book with very slow moving plots I think Marvel should do better.

The plot was a kick off to make Kitty & Collosus relavent again–which I support. The book has a battle including Namor which I do not support–he really has no place in this book even if Emma finds him hot.

I like the Magneto vs the Science Lab stuff, but the fact that he goes and whines to Scott is absurd–this is a guy that solves problems, he does not escallate–Magneto needs another evolution & soon.

Overall an ok book–but not really going any where interesting at the moment…

Here is the official synopsis:

The Story: (hide) “BREAKING POINT” When the X-Men left the militaristic alien Breakworld, its political structure was reduced to ashes. It didn’t stay that way forever. Now a warship is crossing the gulf of space, with a mission that will strike the lives of star-crossed lovers Colossus and Kitty Pryde with all the force of a meteor. Join them as they discover what the vessel them means for them, mutantkind and the rest of the Earth. All courtesy of KIERON GILLEN and TERRY DODSON! Part 1 (of 4).
