I got this movie from Netflix Instant View. I watched it in bed with Lisa.
A fantastic art biography that covers Ed Templeton and the early 1990’s are movement that brought graffitti and skate art together mostly in New York.
There is a fantastic sub text on privacy–one of the main characters actually kind of takes this message to the grave a la How to Draw A Bunny, she dies in child birth.
There is an interesting take on their move to success–how it effected the group and what changed–much like all recent art movies the commerce of art has to be one of the main topics.
There is some really interesting looks at the process of making art–studio footage as well as some footage from gallery installation work.
I strongly recommend this film.
