This was the first batch of beans I have ever gotten from Kean that I did not like–it was a showcase roast attempting to demonstrate the complexity and tea-like qualities of the beans; instead, the coffee was thin in the cup and lazy on the tongue. I was really expecting some fireworks with this one and was very disappointed.
