PHOTOart:Photography in the 21st Centry edited by Uta Grosenick

I got this book from the New Book shelf at the Newport Beach Public Library.

I mostly flipped through the pages looking at pictures only reading the descriptions of the artists that caught my eye–my favorite were OHIO (an art group from Germany), Luisa Lambri, Torbjorn Rodland (Banana Black is fantastic), and Diana Scheunemann.

I noticed a lot of Northern European artists in this collection–Norway and stuff which I found interesting. Not that much from Asia–only a few Japanese and Chinese.

I liked that the descriptions included the artists webpages.
