This is the best book of the 21st century. It is amazingly well written, the characters spring off the page, there are images and situations in this writing that have changed my life–the way I look at people, the way I understand cultural difference, etc.
The book is some much more than a simple tall of the Lost Boys of Sudan. Funny, heartbreaking, totally tragic.
Lisa read this and totally loved it–it is rare for my wife and I to enjoy the same writing.
