Graphic Novels just keep getting better! Seriously Ward, Moore, Clowes, Hernandez Bros, etc. etc. so much good stuff is coming out in the genre that I cannot keep. I almost missed this collection of the Optic Nerve stuff & am I glad that I did not. An amazingly gripping tale full of humanity, love, loss, and irony. Seriously, this wants me to put on the Pixies really loud and call old college friends. It takes me back and moves me foreword at the same time because I sense that I have moved beyond a lot of the problems described in this issue. A really really great comic that I am so glad I read.
