What Have I Done To Deserve This?

I watched this movie last night after my softball game. I think I slept through some of the middle sections, but the parts that I did see were excellent.

I love the disconnected plot madness and the way in which the characters just bounce around. I love the horrors of mindless daily existence exploding under farce. The comedy of this film is really good.

The notion of return to the Village, the comment that “your dad worked a lot. He did not notice.”, the fake Hitler letters & writers writing subtexts, and a bunch of other simple sections of the film will stay with me a for a long time.

The credits of this film were unwatchable, the soundtrack (with lots of German music) was very unusual, and the camera angles were often very claustraphobic.

This was an excellent movie.
