Joshua Tree

Jack and I spent the weekend in Joshua tree. We had a really good time. Jack had a great time camping. I am not sure if there is one story that can sum up the experience.

Some of my favorite memories were around the camp fire, sleeping in our tent, and chasing down rockets. We really had a very good time.

We were there with Rich and his son Luke, and Erik and his son Andrew–we drove out with Erik and Andrew. The small group did very very well–we had fun climbing and hiking–food times were smooth and low pressure. Audry the Guide said that Jack was a climbing natural and that we should take him to the climbing gym.

The weather was fantastic.

I went chasing a Spiritual Experience of the Experiential variety, but I did not have one–more of a simple educational experience in gratitude, being present, and listening. I am very glad I went.
