Words of truth are not always beautiful.
Beautiful words are not always true.
The way of Tao does not argue.
Those who argue are not skilled in Tao.
Those who know are not learned.
The learned do not know.
The wise do not keep anything.
Giving to others is joy.
Doing for others is happiness.
This is the Tao of Heaven,
which gives with endless abandon.
This is the Tao of the Sage,
whose happiness is eternal.
