Last night, Lisa and I left Jack and Kate with Dee and Jack and went on the CA Holiday Boat Cruise. We were on the Destiny this year–an amazing boat. Two decks, with coaches downstairs & tables upstairs. Fewer people were on the boat. I ran into people from Ingram Micro. Mike Staples was great. I meet Jeff from Denver, who did partner network stuff and was great.
Lisa looked awesome and had a really good time. She befriended Kim, the worlds geekiest IT professional. He had a good time talking about Protestants (“it means protest against catholics”), commenting on drunken stow aways (“you are lucky that you do not know anything about computers”), and generally hanging out.
I really like this event and look foreward to doing it again next year.
