David Given Schwarm

Tonight is yet another play off game for Steadman. We were crushed by the first place team last week – game ended with them hitting a home run. Nice to once again be exposed to the Mercy rule. In any event, the games are still a huge amount of fun & I really do get a lot out of them. I need to work less on worrying about the other guys and concentrate on my game, however. I still have yet to actually catch a ball in the outfield – two balls have hit me and I under ran one – super lame. Of course, this is the first year that I have ever played softball – my hitting is fine, I just need to work on my fielding. I have a feeling that tonight will be a great game. Lisa and I may be going to the King Tut exhibit at LACMA before the game, so I will likely be tired and stuff, but lots of coffee will help.
