#This is some bad poetry from a journal that has a pink bandana cover. It starts with a
#newspapaer clipping dated June 2, 1989
Notes on a Pasadena Reading
High school kids pretension to the hilt poetry all out of jilt
Full of meaningless conventions
2 Old women over emotive, free verse doggrel
Ode to a nightenguile with aids typ stuff
An Athena with melrose cool created funky docudrama with spunk
Guns and forced blow jobs and moral distinctions
left and more left.
One guy – with red sass and hightops
Held a small ball shaped radio necklace up to the microphone
to allow vin scully’s honey drenced voice to enunciate the eleventh inning of
the Giants Dodgers game (final 3-2 Giants)
He babbled over the braodcast and propounded the merit of
Farmer John Ham wile enticing the crowd to do the wave
“Aaaahhh! Aaaaah!” he cried
He seemed to posses the spunk necessary to survie in
Pasa De Na.
The bicke ride to expresso was lengthy and stupid but did
However allow me to experience the
Heinous joys of South Pasadena
Below the 210
Smog dos not exist at night so my lungs at least
are safe
